Sunday School: During the academic year, the children are dismissed from regular worship after the Children's Time (around 10:20) to attend Sunday School. Children remain in Sunday School until the regular worship service concludes. Last year, our Sunday School children's favorite project was making a quilt for a family among the tornado victims in Viola, Wisconsin. This year, our students take an "adventure in God's time" each week in the Time Machine as part of the Adventure Club. As you can see, our Sunday School program is taking on a life of its own -- or, maybe we should say, the life of Christ!

Confirmation: We offer Confirmation classes for anyone in 8th grade or older who wants to deepen their knowledge of and faith in God. Our Confirmation program begins in September and ends in May, with students participating in the program for one year before being Confirmed. In 2005, Trinity celebrated with five Confirmands, and in 2006, we confirmed three young people. This year, the class is small, with just one student, so we are enjoying a very flexible schedule.
Pastor Diane meets with her Confirmation students on average three Wednesday evenings each month. Each Confirmand chooses an adult mentor who participates in half of the class sessions with her or him. So far, every Trinity Confirmand in Pastor Diane's program has chosen one of his or her parents as mentor, making our Confirmation program an intergeneration learning experience.

Adult Education: At present, our adult education program is limited to a six-week Lenten study series each spring before Easter. In 2005, we wrestled with "40 Days of Purpose"; and in 2006, we found inspiration in "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and culminated the series by watching the Narnia movie as a group. Pastor Diane is willing to develop another adult education class when interest is expressed.
